Frost upon a window pane
Obscures a view of the mundane
And paints instead a vivid scene
Of forests cool in ice blue sheen.
And though the frost, in melting, will
Erase all trace of forests ... still,
It is for now a lovely view
No matter that it is not true.

DeleteMost excellent. The frost will return soon enough, but let’s enjoy this weather while we are able.
