Common birds
Sometimes we overlook the beauty of what we consider to be "common". The birds depicted here all fall under that category but if we look closely, are they not quite exquisitely beautiful?

I dunno about the starling, Do. Although your picture makes a good case.
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures! I've seen very few starlings recently and I rarely see sparrows but thankfully see and/or hear the robins most days.
ReplyDeleteI think that here blackbirds are often overlooked, perhaps because of their plain markings. Flighty xx
Great reminder, Do! Common they may be, but they are certainly just as beautiful. I especially love the starling photo with the various patterns all over its body.
