This was a pretty dreary week-end but there were a few sunny breaks on Saturday afternoon so I grabbed my camera and dashed over to a near-by college campus hoping to find some interesting subjects. Well the squirrels cooperated!
They certainly did cooperate. I really like the pink in the second. Is the fuzzy, out of focus bg what they call bokeh? Heard the term, but I'm not sure about it.
I'm glad you enjoyed these little guys! Anvilcloud, I had never heard the term "bokeh" before! I Googled it and found this site: http://psdfan.com/inspiration/graphic-design/inspirational-examples-of-the-bokeh-effect/ My out-of-focus areas in the picture are simply created by the large aperture with a telephoto lens. It seems that bokeh refers to how points of light are rendered. I think I have an example of a photo like that and will try to find it.
