At last a fox!

Well, 5 1/2 hours of wandering about on Mount Royal paid off on Saturday with a sighting of a fox! And then, as if in a generous gesture for my many months without a fox fix, it curled up under a tree for a photo shoot!

I enjoy it when my subjects seem at ease with me snapping away at them. I do think many of these animals have come to adopt a certain blasé attitude towards the various camera-toting humans roaming the area.

  1. Good for you. I really like these. They're all really good. More awards coming up? I saw a fox at the cottage -- once. I think the animals are skittier there because we don't really see much wildlife. We do see tracks though.

  3. You must have your blog set to Pacific Time because I am posting three hours later than what the time stamps say.

  4. WOW! Doris these are amazing! Look at little foxy! All relaxed and posing like a pro! I think the blase attitude has a lot to do with the kind and gentle nature of the photographer. Just wonderful Doris! They have made my day!

Anvilcloud - you are absolutely right about the time stamp being Pacific time. I never noticed that! It should be fixed now. Thanks!
