Willow

Willow in 2023

My beautiful, sweet, funny cat Willow was euthanized earlier this week after sharing 18 years of life with me.

She came into my life as a homeless cat eking out a living on the streets and has now left my life having been a wonderful companion who was content to share my home (bossing me around a bit in the process :-)).

Here are a few pictures taken over the years:

Sleeping with her favourite toy (carrot) under a painting of her done by a very good friend. This is my last photo of her.

We had a very loving bond and I miss her terribly.

  1. From a rough start to a long life with a loving, caring companion. That was your gift to her, and the bond you shared was her gift to you. She will live on in your memories.

  2. Aww, so sorry about that. I do know how it feels. We are coming up to a year, in September, I think. 18 is a long life although a few do live longer.
